トップニュースになってもおかしくない話だし、個人的に集めた情報でも 事実である。
米国と北の間には戦略上の深い絆がむすばれているという
いわば、裏同盟が組まれているというわけだ。
こんなコケにされたニュースは記憶にない。

北朝鮮、エチオピアに武器輸出・「米政府黙認」と米紙
【ニューヨーク＝共同】米紙ニューヨーク・タイムズ（電子版）は7日、国連安全保障理事会の北朝鮮制裁決議に反してエチオピアが北朝鮮から武器を購入したことを、米政府が黙認していたと報じた。複数の米高官の話として伝えた。
昨年10月の北朝鮮による核実験を受け、米国は北朝鮮の武器禁輸を盛り込んだ安保理の制裁決議採択を主導。しかしエチオピアがソマリアで、イスラム原理主義勢力「イスラム法廷会議」の制圧作戦を展開、米政府のソマリア政策に貢献しているため、武器輸入を黙認したという。
兵器売却を資金源とする北朝鮮の核開発阻止と、イスラム過激派を主な標的とする対テロ戦という二つの外交政策が矛盾を来し、米政府が妥協を迫られた格好だ。
エチオピアは、旧ソ連時代の武器を安く入手しようと、以前から北朝鮮から購入を図っており、米国は中止を要請。米中央情報局（ＣＩＡ）が、1月下旬に北朝鮮を出港したエチオピアの貨物船が戦車の部品などを積んでいる可能性を報告したが、米政府は、今回は黙認し、今後取引を行わないよう圧力をかけることに決めたという。

The New York Times reported Sunday that the U.S. allowed Ethiopia to purchase weapons from North Korea in a secret shipment last January. The arms deal appears to violate sanctions imposed on North Korea by the U.N. Security Council last October, the article said.
The U.S. received evidence of a cargo of weapons leaving North Korea on an Ethiopian ship but allowed the shipment to go through after an internal debate, the article said. Ethiopia is in the midst of a military offensive against Islamic militias inside Somalia, a campaign that aids the American policy of combating religious extremists in the Horn of Africa.
The full details of the arms shipment are not known, but a report from the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) said that the ship was carrying Soviet-era tank parts and military equipment.
That the U.S. allowed an ally to deal with North Korea "is an example of the compromises that result from the clash of two foreign policy absolutes: the Bush administration’s commitment to fighting Islamic radicalism and its effort to starve the North Korean government of money it could use to build up its nuclear weapons program," the article said.
